Answer:

MANMADE CAUSES -

1] WE CUT TREES AND CUTTING TREES CAUSES SOIL EROSION.

2] The farming practices are the major cause of soil erosion. The agricultural activities disturb the ground.

3] HUMANS ARE DOING POLLUTION AND THERE IS GLOBAL WARMING.

GLOBAL WARMING DESTROYS THE SOIL FERTILLITY. THUS, IT CAUSES

    SOIL EROSION.

NATURAL CAUSES -

1] SOMETIMES EXCESS RAINFALL CAUSES FLOODING AND TAKES THE SOIL WITH IT CAUSING SOIL EROSION.

2]  SOMETIMES STORMS AND CYCLONES TAKES THE SOIL WITH IT THROUGH AIR CAUSING SOIL EROSION.

3] VOLCANOES ERUPT  THE HOT LAVA AND IT FLOWS TO NEARBY LAND. THE EXCESS HEAT OF THE LAVA DESTROYS THE SOIL FERTILLITY AND CAUSES SOIL EROSION.

Differences between manmade and natural causes of soil are as follows:

  • Manmade causes of soil erosion are deforestation, overgrazing, mining and construction, and agriculture.

  • Soil erosion happens through agriculture when the crops are planted and the top layer of soil is shifted which causes erosion.

  • The natural causes of soil erosion are water, wind, etc.

  • When flooding takes place in a particular place, the running water takes away the top layer of the soil thereby causing soil erosion.

  • When high-velocity wind or wind storms occur they affect the layer of soil by displacing it.

These are the different causes of erosion of soil.
