manuscript is the hand written record of the past.It is written on the surfaces  of palm leaves, the bark of the birch tree etc.It can be easily  created.

Inscription is not written but engraved records of the past.It is engraved records of the  king and important events on the surfaces like rocks, stones etc.As it is engraved on the hard surfaces,it take a lot of time and effort .
