Inertia is a virtue of which bodies resist the change in its state. If it is rest it will remain in rest nd if it is in uniform motion It will remain in uniform motion until nd unless any external force is applied on it.

Mass is defined as quantity of matters present in the body.Measurement of inertia is mass.

Hope this will help u

An amount of matter with no definite shape called mass while Inertia is a tendency to do nothing or to remain unchanged .

dassristi2016: The tendency of an object to resist changes in its state of motion varies with mass. Mass is that quantity that is solely dependent upon the inertia of an object. The more inertia that an object has, the more mass that it has. A more massive object has a greater tendency to resist changes in its state of motion.
