hey there,
◆mass:- it is the quantity of matter present in the body.
in other words,
=)mass is the quantity which resist the motion.
=) mass is constant anywhere in the universe
=) it's SI unit is kilograms (kg)
◆ weight:- it is the force which acts towards the centre of earth.
=) weight = mass × acceleration due to gravity.
=) W = mg
=)weight varies from place to place .
=) it's SI unit is Newton(N)

Hello Deepu,
Mass of an object is defined as the amount of material or amount of matter that constitutes the body.
Weight is defined as the product of mass of an object and acceleration due to gravity.
Mass is same at any place.
Weight of an object changes from place as it depends on gravity.
