differentiate between mass and weight

There is a basic difference, becausemass is the actual amount of material contained in a body and is measured in kg, gm, etc. Whereas weight is the force exerted by the gravity on that object mg. Note that mass is independent of everything but weightis different on the earth, moon, etc.

weight is depend on gravitational force such as in moon it is low then earth but

mass mean that the material which is used is body called mass
such as when we are in moon Weight is different but mass is same (material used)
