Mass is amount of matter in a body or space. Weight is the force of gravity exerted by the planet on that mass. Mass remains constant for a given body or volume where as weight can change depending on the planet size, latitude altitude etc. Unit of mass is kg or g where as unit of weight is Newton or kgf or gf. Eg: If your mass is 60 kg on Earth surface, it will remain same on moon but your weight on Earth will be 60 kgf and your weight on moon will be <60kgf because gravitational force on moon is very less than that of Earth.
