meristematic tissues are responsible for growth and it divide to form the new cell and it are of 3 types apical, intercalary, lateral. permanent tissue change their shape and size to perform specialised function in plants and they are of two types complex , simple

Here is ur answer :

MERISTEMATIC TISSUE :

1. The cells divide repeatly.

2. The cells are undifferentiated.

3. The cells are small and isodiametric.

4. Vacuoles are absent.

5. Intercellular space are generally absent.

6. Metabolism occurs at high rate.

7. The cell walls are thin.

PERMANENT TISSUE :

1. The cells are drive from meristematic tissue and do not divide.

2. The cells are fully Differentiated.

3. The cells are variable in shape and size.

4. Large vacuoles are present in mature cells.

5. Visible intercellular spaces are present.

6. Metabolism occurs at low rate.

7. Cell wall may be thin or thick.
