Meiosis:

• Cells use this method for reproduction.
• Chromosomes in the daughter cells becomes half the chromosomes of parent cells.
• Two cells are formed.

Mitosis:

• Cells use this method for growth and development.
• Number of chromosomes do not change.
• Four identical daughter cells are formed.
