Mendeleev's periodic table

Mendeleev's periodic table is based on atomic mass

Mendaleev's periodic table contains about 66 elements.

In Mendeleev's  periodic table there were gaps for undiscovered elements.

In Mendeleev's periodic table noble gases were not placed (as they are not discovered at that time).

In Mendeleev's periodic table transition elements included with other elements

Modern periodic table

Modern periodic table is based on atomic number

Modern periodic table contains about 112 elements

Modern periodic table maintains uniformity

In Modern periodic table noble gases in a seperate group named as group-18.

In Modern periodic table transition elements  placed in separate block.

hope it helps...

Here is your answer

Mate!!

Mendeleev's Periodic Table:

(1)The Element's were arranged according to increasing atomic masses.

(2)Position of hydrogen was not justified because it resembles both alkali metals and the halogen's.

(3)Position of halogens was not explained.

Modern Periodic Table:

(1)The Element's were arranged according to increasing atomic masses.

(2)Hydrogen was assigned a unique  position because of it's resemblance with alkali metal's and Halogens.

(3)Since the atomic no. of all the isotopes is the same, there was no problem in the placing of isotopes.

Hope it helps ✌✌✌✌
