Those fibres which are extracted from the living things are called natural fibres. e.g, Silk is extracted from the larva of silkmoth, wool from sheep and goats, cotton from cotton plants etc.
Artificial fibres are prepared by the human beings. e.g,nylon,rayon etc.
Artificial fibres are also called Synthetic fibres.
