Natural and artificial harbor:

• A natural harbor is a place with deep water that is sheltered from the most common strong winds and giant waves.  

• A natural harbor is a geographic feature which provides space and some other key benefits to watercraft.

•  An artificial harbor can have intentionally constructed breakwaters, sea walls, or they can be constructed by searching, which requires upkeep by further periodic dredging.
