Chordates:
A notochord is present at some stage in the life of a chordate.
Central nervous system is hollow.
RBCs contain haemoglobin.
A til is present in some stage in the life of a chordate..

Non-chordates:
Notochord is not present in any stage in the life of a non-chordate.
Central nervous system is solid.
Tail is absent.
RBCs are absent.Hemoglobin is present only in rare cases in the blood plasma.

3). Pharynx is perforated by Gill slits

4). Heart is ventral

5). Post anal part that that is a tail is present

NON CHORDATES

1). Notochord is absent

2). Central nervous system is ventral , solid and double

3). Gill slits are absent

4). Heart is dorsal if it is present

5). Post anal tail is absent
