Think of organelles as being similar to organs just on a much smaller
scale. Organelles provide many various functions necessary to keep a
cell running. For example, the ribosomes are involved with building
proteins from RNA blueprints.
Organs on the other hand are on a much larger scale. Examples of organs are your heart, lungs, kidneys, ect.
