★Osmosis:-

  • Movement of Solvent through a semipermeable membrane from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrated one.

  • Not limited to any Special cell type.

  • Depends upon difference in concentration of Solution.

★Transpiration:-

  • Loss of water in the from of water vapour through leaves.

  • Only occur through Stomata.

  • Depends upon temperature, humidity an wind.

Answer:

◆Osmosis⇨ is the process by which water molecules move from a weaker solution into a stronger solution through a partially permeable membrane. ...

◆Transpiration ⇨is the loss of water in vapour form from the leaves into air. It occurs when water is released into air.
