oxidising agent:-
. oxidizing agent is a substance which helps in addition of oxygen or removal of hydrogen from the substance being oxidized.
.ex:-magnesium dioxide, chlorine, oxygen, bromine and iodine etc..
reducing agent:-
. reducing agent is the substance which helps in addition of hydrogen aur removal of oxygen from the substance being reduced.
.ex:-hydrogen, carbon, sodium, potassium etc
