Saprophytic Nutrition:

1. This term is actually used for organisms that obtain their nutrition from dead and decayed organic matter like dead plants and animals.

2. These organisms that live on dead and decaying organic matter are called as Saprophytes.

3. the saprophytic organisms like fungi release digestive enzymes in their surrounding medium to convert the complex organic molecules such as sugars in simple forms such as glucose.

Symbiotic Nutrition:

1. This is a very basic term that we all have learned in our schooling days.

2. The symbiotic relationship is between two different species which happens for a biologic exchange.
