Parrnchyma-

it is a simple permanent tissue of things walled nearly isodiametric (all sides equal) living cells which forms the basic packing tissue of plant body that lies in specialised tissues.

  • Location - it occurs in all parts ( stems,root,leaves,flowers, etc.)

collenchyma- it is a simple permanent tissue of living cells which provides flexibility to soft aerial parts and bend without breaking.

  • Location- collenchyma occurs below the epidermis in leaf stalks, leaf mid ribs and herbaceous divot stems.

Parenchyma cells are found in every soft part of the plant, but collenchyma cells are found in specific part of the plant like leaves, stems, and petioles, whereas sclerenchyma cells are found in mature parts of the plants or trees. ...
