Difference between Parliamentary constituency and Assembly constituency :

A constituent assembly is assigned the task of formulating the constitution. While the parliament make new laws and amend the existing laws if required so. For example before independence constituent assembly of India headed by Dr. Rajendra Prasad drafted and finalized the constitution of India. Same body worked as parliament of India till 1952 before first general election.
