The following is the difference between the perennial and the non-perennial rivers:

Perennial rivers:

2. They are also called the permanent rivers.

3. Generally, these rivers are found in the areas where the rate of evaporation is much lower than the rainfall.

Non-perennial rivers:

1. These are the rivers which do not show a flow of water even for a part of the year.

2. These are called the periodic rivers. the non-perennial rivers flow only during the rainy season.

3. These rivers are generally found in the areas with dry climates where the rates of evaporation are higher than the rainfall.
