Perennial Rivers are those which flow throughout the year and seasonal rivers are those which flow only in rainy seasons.
Himalayan Rivers are those which originate from Himalayan Glaciers. some examples are Ganga , Yamuna, Indus.
Peninsular Rivers are those which originate from the Ghats in the western
side. some examples are Godavari, Cauvery, Krishna.
