Radical :-

• It is embryonic root

• Comes out first from seed

• Grows downwards from soil

Difference between  plumule and redicle

Explanation:

Plumule-

  • The rudimentary shoot or stem which is present in an embryo or baby plant is called as plumule.
  • It is a small conical shaped structure with out any leaf.
  • Shoot or stem emerges from plumule.
  • It plumule grows into leaves,it produce food by absorbing light from sun and with help of water and carbon dioxide.
  • Plumule is found above cotyledons.

Redicle-

  • The rudimentary root which is present present in a baby plant is called as radicle.
  • Redical is the first part of a seedling that emerges during the process of germination.
  • Root emerges from redicle.
  • Redicle  grows into soil.
  • Redicle absorbs water from soil and thus helps in photosynthesis.
