Plumule-
- The rudimentary shoot or stem which is present in an embryo or baby plant is called as plumule.
- It is a small conical shaped structure with out any leaf.
- Shoot or stem emerges from plumule.
- It plumule grows into leaves,it produce food by absorbing light from sun and with help of water and carbon dioxide.
- Plumule is found above cotyledons.
Redicle-
- The rudimentary root which is present present in a baby plant is called as radicle.
- Redical is the first part of a seedling that emerges during the process of germination.
- Root emerges from redicle.
- Redicle grows into soil.
- Redicle absorbs water from soil and thus helps in photosynthesis.
