Prime Minister's Rozgar Yojana (PMRY) Scheme. PMRY is being implemented since 1993. The Scheme is designed to create and provide sustainable self-employment opportunities to one million educated unemployed youth in the country during the 8th Plan period.

PMRY = prime minister rozgar yojna . it was started in 1993 . the aim of programme is to create self employment opportunities for educated employed youth in rural areas and in small town.
PMGY = pradhan mantri gramodya yojna .it was stared in 2000 , additional central assistance is given to states for basic service like primary health , education , rural shelter , rural drinking water and rural electrification..
