A political executive consists of elected representatives that are on power for a temporary basis.

They make laws.

A permanent executive consists of IAS officers who are permanent unless impeached from power.

They implement laws passed by the political executive.

➡️One that is elected by the people for a specific period,is called the political executive. They makes law and policies.

➡️Political executives are "elected" and are not on permanent.

➡️They get out of power when their government is not in power.

➡️Political leaders who take big decisions fall in the category of political executive.

➡️Political executives hold office only till the time the party to which they belong rules.

Permanent executive -

➡️They are in charge of the 'executive ' of the policies of the government.

➡️Permanent executive hold office till the age of their retirement which is 65 years of age.

➡️The Permanent executives are not directly accountable to the people but to the political ministers.
