Pollination is occur in plant and fertilization is occur in animal.

Well, for starters, fertilization occurs deep within a flowering plant AFTER pollination occurs. Firstly, pollination is the transfer of pollen from the anther (male organ of the flower) to the stigma (female organ of the flower) of the same or different flower. Secondly, fertilization occurs once the pollen grain reaches the stigma, it produces a pollen tube, which grows down through the style to the ovary. This cause the male pollen cell to fuse with the female cell in the ovule. This process is called fertilization.
Pollination and ferlilization are two different processes so it is highly unlikely that anyone would get confused. I hope this helps though.
Also, Fertilization occurs right after pollination.
