actual resource  are those which have surveyed their quantity and quality are determined and are being used in present times.
eg- the rich deposits of coal in Ruhr region in Germany

potential resource are the resources which exist in region and which can be use in the future
eg-the uranium found in Ladakh is potential resource that could  be used in future.
