In prophase, the chromosomes are composed of two chromatids. In telophase, the chromosomes have are single stranded and there are two identical daughter cells. The cells are about half the size of the prophase cell. In Prophase the actual nuclear membrane is gone; Within telophase the nuclear membrane is so are-forms.
