Answer:

Protoplasm:-

Protoplasm is composed of a mixture of small molecules such as ions, amino acids, monosaccharides and water, and macromolecules such as nucleic acids, proteins, lipids and polysaccharides. In eukaryotes the protoplasm surrounding the cell nucleus is known as the cytoplasm and that inside the nucleus as the nucleoplasm.

cytoplasm:-

Cytoplasm is all the contents inside the cell membrane excluding the nucleus. And protoplasm includes cytoplasm, plus, the nucleus of the cell.

Answer:

The Difference Between Cytoplasm and Protoplasm are confusing because the meaning they convey are often interchanged. It is now known that the “cell” comprises of many organelles (Ribosomes, Endoplasmic reticulum etc) which perform specific functions. These cells organelles are engulfed in a gel like substance called Cytosol. This is collectively known as cytoplasm. But it doesn’t include the nucleus.
