(i)This process is called decantation. ... In this way a mixture of sand and water has been separated into sand and clear water by decantation. The process of decantation is used in our everyday life. Rice and pulses bought from the market usually have dust or soil particles as impurities in them.
(ii)We should add ice to the lemonade after dissolving sugar. It is possible to dissolve more sugar before adding ice because as the temperature is decreased, dissolving power of water also gets decreased.
