Rapid Combustion- When a fuel catches fire rapidly to form heat and light is known as Rapid Combustion. Comparatively less amount of heat is released at a time. Such as- Burning of petrol, kerosene, LPG, etc.
Explosive Combustion- When a fuel explodes when it catches fire to form heat and light is known as Explosive Combustion. A large amount of heat is released at a time. Such as- Crackers, Nuclear bombs, Hydrogen gas, etc.
