1). Substance that reacts with something Particular, and gives a new substance as a result.

2) Example, When hydrogen reacts with Oxygen, They give birth to new substance called Water.

Here, reactants are hydrogen and oxygen.

3) Reactants are kept left side of arrow in a chemical equation.

1) The new substance formed by reaction of reactants is coined as product.

2) In case of reaction between hydrogen and oxygen, water was product.

3) Products are kept right hand side of arrow while writing a chemical equation.
