Recognition:
Recognition refers to our capability to “recognize” an event or piece of info as being acquainted.
For example, some days after taking a foreign language vocabulary test, a student might identify one of the test words on a homework task yet be unable to recognize its meaning.
Recall:
Recall designates the recovery of related details from memory.
An example of this would be reviewing a list of 10 words and later recalling 5 of them. This is a 50 percent recall.
