Differences between refraction and reflection are
Reflection:
1. It is rebouncing of light from a surface of the reflecting medium.
2. It occurs only in one medium
3. the angle of incidence will always be equal to the angle of reflection, i.e., i=r
4. It occurs in mirrors
Refraction:
1. It is light travelling from one medium to another
2. It takes place in 2 mediums
3. The angle of incidence depends upon the medium (i.e., how much denser or rarer it is.
4. It occurs in lenses

Dear Student,
◆ Difference between reflection and refraction of light -
- Reflection is return of light rays while refraction is deviation of light rays.
- Angle of reflection and angle of reflection are always same. Angle of incidence and angle of refraction are not same.
- In reflection, speed of light is unaltered. In refraction, speed of light changes.
- Reflection occurs at mirrors while refraction occurs through lenses.
Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
