Hello here is your answer★»»

There are two types of photoreceptors in the human retina, rods and cones.Rods are responsible for vision at low light levels (scotopic vision). They do not mediate color vision, and have a low spatial acuity. ... The central fovea is populated exclusively by cones.

Here are few differences that we can find in rods and cones :

1. Rods are the structures that have shape like a rod whereas cones are the parts which has shape like a cone.

2. The location of rod is on the retina's boundary while the cones is found in the retina's centre.

3. We cannot get colored vision with the help of rods but we can achieve colored vision with cones.
