sliding friction occurs when one surface is rubbing against another surface, whereas rolling friction occurs when an object is rolling on another surface.

E.g - Rolling of ball or wheel on the ground .

♥ Sliding friction is the restriction on the body’s movement as only one side of the body is in contact with the surface .

E.g - Pushing a box across the table .
