Answer:
- Scouring is the process of removing contaminants such as oil, dirt, and suint from a batch of raw sheep's wool after it has been prepared and washed. The basic goal of scouring is to get contaminants out of the textile materials. The textile materials are left in a highly absorbent state without experiencing any substantial chemical or physical harm. Following the scouring step, the materials are ready for the next bleaching.
- Reeling of the silk is the technique of extracting silk threads from cocoons for use in silk fabric. Silk is reeled with the use of sophisticated machinery. The silk or threads are unwound from the cocoon using these devices.
