Differentiate between sensory neurons and motor neurons?

Motor Neurons
-Long axon
-No receptors
-Cell body terminals and has dentrites
-Many short dendrons

Sensory Neurons
-Short axon
-Have receptors
-Cell body at the side; no dendrites
-One long dendron

MOTOR NEURON

  • It carries the impulse from brain to the effector organ.

  • Motor neurons are multipolar.

  • Motor neurons are mainly found in muscles and glands.
