whereas ,
vaccine is any germ or germ substance introduced in to the body for developing resistance to the particular disease.

a vaccine teaches you immune system to fight infection disease is essentially giving you and immunity and antiserum sometimes called as serum or the plural antisera contains specific antigen to stimulate and immediate immune system response
