- Small scale industries requires less finance investment for setup as compare to large scale industries.
- Small scale industries requires less manpower as its production is done on a small unit scale.
- In small scale industries operating cycle is high as product sold out in a day or within a week there is no need to store as stock.
- Examples of small scale industries are : handicrafts ,cycle,textile industries etc
Large Scale Industries
- Large scale industries are those industries which are operated on a large scale unit.
- It required huge finance investment for setup /starting up.
- It requires huge manpower (labourers) as it's production capacity is high so laborers are required to perform activities.
- Operating cycle is quite slow as many big products may be not sold out immediately some things need to be store in the warehouse.
- Example : Cotton,iron,car manufacturing etc
