• Small scale industries requires less manpower as its production is done on a small unit scale.
• In small scale industries operating cycle is high as product sold out in a day or within a week there is no need to store as stock.
• Examples of small scale industries are : handicrafts ,cycle,textile industries etc

Large Scale Industries

• Large scale industries are those industries which are operated on a large scale unit.
• It required huge finance investment for setup /starting up.
• It requires huge manpower (labourers) as it's production capacity is high so laborers are required to perform activities.
• Operating cycle is quite slow as many big products may be not sold out immediately some things need to be store in the warehouse.
• Example : Cotton,iron,car manufacturing etc
