  1. THEY HAVE WEAK CLEANSING ACTION
  2. THEY ARE SODIUM OR POTASSIUM SALT OF LONG CHAIN OF CARBOXYLIC ACID
  3. THEY ARE NOT EFFECTIVE IN HARD WATER

DETERGENTS:

  1. THEY HAVE STRONG CLEANSING ACTION
  2. THEY ARE SODIUM SALT OF SULPHONIC ACID OR AMMONIUM SALTS WIT CHIORIDES AND BROMIDEDS IONS
  3. THEY ARE MUCH EFFECTIVE IN HARD WATER
