Explanation:-

Differentiate between Solid Liquid and Gas on the basis of volume :-

Solids :-

The states of matter having less intermolecular spaces and volumes between the molecules is called solids.

There molecules are closely packed to each other.

Liquids :-

The states of matter which intermolecular space lies between solids and gasses is known as liquids.

The intermolecular space between their molecules is greater than solids but less than gases.

Gases :-

The state of matter in which the intermolecular space between their molecules is large is known as gases.

As their molecules are freely to move in whole volume .

Hence, on the basis of volumes we can arrange the type of matter as following :-

\boxed{\sf{Gases > liquids > Solids }}

Answer:

SOLID

It has certain shape and volume.

GAS

Gas refers to a state of matter, do not have any shape but confirm to the shape of container in which it is put.

LIQUID

liquid only have definite volume but not shape.
