Hey friend ^_^

Here is your answer:

♠ Differences between SPEED and VELOCITY are as follows :- ♠

• The distance travelled per second by a moving object is called speed.
• The distance travelled per second by a moving object in a particular direction is called velocity.

• Speed is a scalar quantity.
• Velocity is a vector quantity.

• Speed is always positive as the direction is not taken into consideration.
• Velocity can be positive or negative as it depends upon the direction of motion.

Hope it helps u !
