Hey ✌

Here differences between speed and velocity:-

✏ Speed is the distance travelled by a body per unit time with irrespective of direction whereas velocity is the distance travelled by a body per unit time with respect to a time.

✏ Speed is a scalar quantity where is velocity is a vector quantity.

✏ Speed can not be zero at any situation but velocity can be zero at a certain situation.

✏ The average speed is the magnitude of the average velocity. Since the average velocity is zero (vector) m/s, the magnitude of this is also zero meters per second.
