Staminate is any flower or plant which only has the male reproductive part-stamen and Pistillate is any flower or plant which only has the female reproductive part-pistil.

Staminate and Pistillate are the types of plants. Their differentiation occurred

based on sexuality.

Staminate  are uni-sexual male plants. These plants bear flowers which contains only male reproductive organs called stamens. They produce pollen grains.

Pistillate are uni-sexual female plants. These plants bear flowers which contains only female reproductive organs called pistil. They produce ovules.
