2) They are costly.

3) Takes less time to get converted.

4) Examples: Urea, ammonium sulphate, potassium chloride and potassium sulphate.

COMPLEX FERTILIZERS :

1) Supply more than 2 primary plant nutrients

2) They are cheaper.

3) Takes more time to convert.

4) Examples: Diammonium phosphate, nitrophosphates and ammonium phosphate.
