Hi there !!

Striated muscles :
Striated muscles, also called skeletal muscles, since they are mostly attached to to bones and help in body movement , are voluntary muscles and have light and dark bands or striations when seen under a microscope.
The cells are long , cylindrical, unbranched and multinucleate

Unstriated muscles:
Also, called smooth muscles are involuntary muscles and control movements like the movement of food in the alimentary canal.
The cells are long with pointed ends (spindle shaped ) and uninucleate .

Cardiac muscles :
These muscles are present in the heart and show rythmic contraction and relaxation throughout the life.
They are involuntary !
The cells of these muscles are cylindrical, branched and uninucleate.
