1.the muscles which have strips on them are called straited muscle . they participate in voluntary actions like movement of hands, etc. they are present in the effector organs.
2.smooth muscles or the non straited muscles are those which do not have any kind of strips on them .they participate in involuntary actions and are present in organs like stomach , intestines ,etc
