They are cylindrical in shape and multi nucleate. They are present in body parts such as hands and legs.

Answer: The differences b/w striated,unstriated and cardiac muscles are given below....

1. Striated muscles

● Each muscle is long, cylindrical, non-tapering and multi-nucleate.

● Shows striations.

● Occur in the limbs, body wall and neck.

2. Unstriated muscles

■ Each muscle fibre is long, flattened, spindle shaped, tapering and uninucleate.

■ Does not show stations.

■ Occur in the walls of all tabular organs such as the stomach, intenstines, blood vessels, breating passages and the urinogenitial ducts.

3. Cardiac muscles

● The fibre have centrally located one or two nuclei and transverse striations with light and dark bands. They are brached.

● Show transverse strations.

● Occur only in the walls of the heart.
