1. straited muscle

  • The cells of straited muscles are long, cylindrical, unbranched and multinucleated.
  • Straited muscles are present in our limbs and join the bones.

2. Unstraited muscle

  • The cells of unstraited mucles are long, pointed at the ends and uninucleated.
  • These muscles are present in alimentary canal, blood vessels, iris of the eyes, ureter and bronchi.

3. Cardiac muscle

  • The cells of cardiac muscles are cylindrical, branched and uninucleated.
  • Cardiac muscles are present in heart ( i.e. in the wall of heart).
