Striated muscles are those which are under the control of one's will. They mostly help in movement and locomotion in humans. They are also known as voluntary muscles. Unstriated muscles are those which are not controlled by one's will. A good example of this movement is peristalsis which is the contraction of muscles that happens during digestion. Cardiac muscles are just present in the heart. They are mostly like cardiac muscles but the difference is in their structure.
