These are multinucleated, striped muscles present in our body. These are also voluntary muscles, ie. can be controlled by us. One of the most common example of this type of muscle is the SKELETAL MUSCLES.

Unstriated muscles :

These are the muscles lacking striations or striped appearance and are involuntarily ie. auto controlled. These are smooth in appearance and so are called smooth muscles. These are uninucleated. Eg. Oesophagus, fallopian tube.

Cardiac muscles :

These are a category of involuntary muscles found only in the heart. They are mostly uninucleated but sometimes double nucleated.
